THE DR. SYLVIA ANDERSON PRICE LETTERS AWARD

Dr. Sylvia Price has established this Letters Award to encourage a Pen Woman’s professional advancement in the Letters area. Dr. Price is a past President and Treasurer of the Sarasota Branch, and past President of the Florida State Association (FSA /NLAPW).

The amount of the award to be conveyed to the winner at our 2019 biennial conference is:

ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS

The Dr. Sylvia Anderson Price Letters Award is to be used to enhance the winner’s productivity and creativity in the Letters area. The money can cover the cost of courses, workshops, seminars, or can be used to cover the cost of materials and equipment necessary for writing. Perhaps the award will allow the winning Pen Woman to finish a book she has always wanted to complete.

ELIGIBILITY:

Any Florida Pen Woman in the Letters category is eligible to receive this award if she has been a dues-paying Letters member of the Florida State Association for at least two (2) years prior to May 1, 2019, and must also be current with her 2019-2020 state and national dues.

The winner must be present at the 2019 Florida State Conference to accept the award.

Entries by mail must be received by Wednesday, July 26 2019.  Mail to:
