Karen Whiting

Karen Whiting (Letters) -  Karen is an international speaker, former television host of Puppets on Parade, and award-winning author of more than thirty books for women, children, and families. She has a heart to help families thrive and build strong, wholesome bonds. She has written more than 1000 articles for more than seventy publications and loves to let creativity splash over the pages of what she writes. Karen writes a monthly blog on marketing for The Write Conversation, https://thewriteconversation.blogspot.com/ Her writing awards include the Christian Retailing Best Award, children’s nonfiction (The One Year My Princess Devotions) and the Military Writer’s Society of America Gold Medal (Stories of Faith and Courage from the Home Front) Golden Scroll Christian Educational Book of the Year, Golden Scroll Nonfiction Book off the Year, and Golden Scroll Bible Study of the Year.

Karen serves on the board of directors of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA) where she helps other educate authors and connect them to promotional and content writing opportunities. She likes adventure and has ridden a camel in the Canary Islands; white water rafted in Australia; ridden horseback in the ocean in Jamaica; and enjoyed scuba diving off the coast of Bermuda. She’s spoken in such far away places as China, Russia, and Malaysia. She also does research for a Bible archeology documentary film maker and is working on a Bible archeology book for tweens.
