Meetings and Events

Our Mission

At Cape Canaveral Pen Women, we are dedicated to promoting the arts and fostering creativity in our community. Our mission is to provide accessible cultural experiences that enrich and inspire.

Cape Canaveral Pen Women are busy women.  We meet each month from September to May, but that's not all. We host workshops, attend conferences, have shows, release parties and shows.  Check us out!  Better yet, become a member!

  •      September 10 - Welcome Back, Memorial Board, Scholarship Committee planning.
  •      October 8 - Halloween Happening 
  •      November 12 - Guest Speaker George Todd, Bring a Friend & Mega Raffle
  •      December 10 - Christmas Party, gift collection
  •      January 14 - Field Trip - Lawndale House
  •      February 11 - Have a heart for Art and guest Nina Moser  
  •      March 11 - Show and Tell 
  •      April 18 - Guest Speaker Brian Freeman
  •      May 14 - Scholarship Luncheon

Events



  • Saturday, March 28 - Karen Whiting (Letters) will be featured at Lawndale Historic Museum  for their Grand Observance for Women's History Month. She will be speaking at 1pm.  Lawndale Historic Museum is located at 1219 Rockledge Drive in Rockledge.
  • Saturday, March 14 (noon to 3pm) Meet and Greet with Holly Schwartzol for launch of her new book, "Loves of My Life" at Books-a-Millon located at 780 E. Merritt Island Causeway, Merritt Island.
  • Sunday, March 1 - Anne-Marie Derouault (Letters) is hosting a book launch for her latest work, "Oceans and Orchids" a book of poetry. Launch will be via Zoom meeting. To reserve your spot, go to https://www.annempoet.com/registration 
  • Saturday, February 21 Space Coast Writing Guild featuring Cynthia Hall and Gwynne Eldridge.
  • Saturday, February 21 (9am to 2pm) Turkey Creek Sanctuary Art and Craft featuring jewelry by Elmira Hooge.
  • Sunday, February 22 (10am to 3pm) Art and Crafts at Greater Palm Bay Senior Center, featuring art and jewelry by Elmira Hooge.
  • Saturday, November 8 (1pm to 4pm)  Art and Jewelry party hosted by Pam Farley and Pam Webb. Located this year at Pam Farley's house. Contact Pam Farley for details.
  • Saturday, October 11 - Indian River Bird and Nature Art Show, sponsored by the Pelican Island Conservation Society. See Ginny Beeby and Pam E. Webb artwork at the Reception from 2-4pm at the Indian River Lagoon offices, 1235 Main Street, Sebastian, FL. This is a new venue for the show. It is in the old Sebastian Public School.
